Those who love water, St. Thomas is a bliss. It gives an overall full view of island and ocean from mountains. The population is nearly of 50,000 at the island. The summit of St.Peter Mountain – The signal Hill- is about 1540 feet higher than sea level and was used In 1940 as the highest point for communications.
One must keep in mind your commitments while moving to St. Thomas. It is difficult to adapt another culture and lifestyle. Moravian Missionaries established a Nisky Moravian Church in 1755. The walls being made of yellow and red bricks and today the tower is used as a school too.
The ancient Danish farms are now called Tillet Gardens and now is a home for artists and painters. Antique jewelries, paintings, silkscreen and many hand crafted products can be found at in Tillet Gardens. Music concerts are also arranged per annum.
At south west, French town is situates which is very popular with tourists. It is more of a village for fishermen and fresh produce and catch can be directly bought from there. Red hook Village is also nearby which cater to the boating community. It provides services for rental boats and at nightlife is also very active.
