Split is the largest Dalmatian city and the second largest city in Croatia. The structure is more like a city housing sixteen towers, three temples and an emperor’s mausoleum. The historic center of Split was included into the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The city is said to be one of the centers of Croatian culture. The Split is also popular for its museums and galleries. The Gallery of Fine Arts, The Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments, The Croatian Maritime Museum and The Ethnographical Museum are some popular names of art and culture in the city.
